Q&A

Would the 4XL fit over the top of a ballistic vest for a 3XL shirt size man?: Yes the 4XL will fit over the 3XL and is adjustable in length and girth.
Is there a "Police" identification patch for the back of this anywhere? Also, can you attach a badge to the front?: There is not a police patch on the back of this item however you can put one on there as there is hook and look on the back. Just search Tact-idbadges for that item. Also there is no specific place to add a bade to this vest.
What's the size difference between the regular size vest and the 2XL? Shirt wise, I normally wear XL. Thanks.: Both vests are adjustable in girth and length. A regular is expandable from 40" to 50" and a 2XL is expandable from 46" to 57" in girth.
I am right on the line between the Regular and 2XL. Should I buy the larger size to compensate for coats in the winter or purchase the one that will fit me now. I'm 46" in the chest.: If you are between sizes, 5.11 usually recommends going up in size. However, this item qualifies for free return shipping, which means that your shipment will include a UPS return label to send the item back to us at no charge if you're unhappy with the fit.
Are there any conectors to attach the vest to a duty belt..or do you use some velcro through the little loops they have comming off the vest...???: we do not show any connectors available through 5.11. we would say using the Velcro through the loop attachment points would be the best option.
I'm 46" in the chest so the Regular would be the right size (it fits 40 to 50 in. chests); however, if I'm wearing heavy clothing, would that necessitate a 2XL or would that be too big? I normally wear an XL (17) in shirts.: If you feel like the heavy clothing will add a lot of extra inches, it's probably best to go with the 2XL. But if the extra clothing isn't going to add a lot of extra bulk than an XL would probably be fine. Ultimately, if you don't like the fit of the item when you receive it, it qualifies for free return shipping so you could always send it back as long as it is in brand new condition.
Will this vest accommodate a 3 liter Camelbak bladder?: yes should will fit a 3L hydration bladder just fine.
Does this vest hold ballistic Kevlar panels in it or is this intended to go over a under-carrier?: this vest will not hold ballistic plates in the front but does have a pouch in the back that can hold them if needed. this is more intended though for over the carrier.
