This kit is ideal for any person that frequently finds themselves in the presence of firearms or other devices that that could potentially harm personnel. Housed in the Snugpak, Response Pak, this multifunctional carry case also doubles as a fanny pack and has a multitude of hidden internal storage pockets. It has become a favorite among the military as a great med bag. Inside the Response Pak you will find an array of life-saving medical equipment that is currently in use by U.S. and foreign military services.
The kit is comprised of the Emergency Bandage, also known as the Israeli Battle Dressing. This pressure bandage is designed to apply as much as 30 - 50 pounds of pressure directly to wounds. Also contained in the kit is the Special Operations Forces Tactical Tourniquet, which when applied correctly will occlude arterial blood flow in whichever extremity it is applied to. To assist with hemorrhage control we have included the QuikClot Sport 50g pouch. This top of the line hemostatic agent will help to stop even the worse bleeding. In cases of penetrating chest injuries, the HALO Seal will give you all that you need to manage sucking chest wounds.
