The Safariland 6004 Tactical Drop-Leg Holster is purpose-built and features Safariland's SLS (Self Locking System) rotating hood. With no snap, the SLS allows for a smoother, single-motion draw, and greater protection against attempted firearm takeaways. The SLS tactical holster is also far less likely to release accidentally than those with conventional thumb break snaps.
The hood can only be released by being simultaneously pushed down and rotated forward. When upward force is applied, the holster becomes even more secure.
The holster is made from durable thermoformed SafariLaminate material that protects against scrapes, scratches and dents. To protect the gun's sights and finish, the interior is lined with suede and features a molded sight track.
